On my 1.2m andrews with ku-band linear feedhorn and invacom c120 lnb i can get all vertical transponders 24/7 but and only get a very weak signal from the horizontals which is not enuf to lock on, But in the past on my 1.8m fortec star and 1.8m andrews and on the 1.8m prodelin i have now i can get all transponders H & V 24/7 and in the rain

I'm going to have to get the 1.5mtr one of these now as I can't wall mount a 180cm antenna without a lot of greif.
Gotta have one ![]() L.

On horizontal signels from 7 west now is the best time of year to look.we all know the world spins round,@ this time we are as close to the satellite here as you going 2 be.Later in year the signel will get weaker on horizontal ones

I can get a lock on the horizontals on my 1.2 andrew but the signal is very low but on my 1.8m prodelin and 1.8m andrews i had in the past and on the 1.8m fortec star i also had in the past it horizontals are very strong, the thing with nilesat is as we are on the end of the footprint a or so miles away and the signal drops alot,
I did post some pics on one of the forums of nilesat horizontals on a fortecstar 1.8m in december i will try and find them. Quote:

Ok here is the signal i get useing the 1.2m andrews on nilesat H & V channels and here is some screen shots horizontal channels on my 1.2m. As you can see i can get the verticals fineon the 1.2m but the horizontals break up,
