My prediction was very wrong, it is really starting to get going now, blowing about a force 7.

yes my triax dish is moving about due to it being like tin foil
going have to install my heavy duty equipment soon andrews on 1224 motor if wind is going to be like this regularly

That dam wind has got worse.I am not even going to look at my dish until the morning.In fact I am thinking of putting my 60cm dish back up.I did not have any wind problems with that.And I have not noticed much difference in signal strength .

I moved mine triax onto 39east over night to try tacking the wind and reduce stress on the pole
when on 1 west was like a 1.1 metre sail the stress on the pole looked painful could see it bouncing when a gust hit funny thing is signal quality was not affected much Im really surprised its not moved in the last few days the arc still seems to be ok pleased I put 2x tk barckets on there now but can see why polar mounts are a good plan and motors sound not be used over 1.1 meters |

Lost my greenhouse to a tree! just got back from a weekend way in the Isle of Wight. O/T I know!
