Default Chasing midnight on New Years Eve.

Anyone up for this? It worked very well over on the DS forum last year and we had a lot of fun.

Basically we find as many midnights as possible as NYE progresses. i think we found about 12 or 13 last year starting at 3pm uk time in Japan....

The you follow the midnight hour westwards, and use only easy to receive signals from 13E & 19E. A toast has to be drunk for each midnight of course

Sadly I will be at my daughter's on NYE and she doesn't have anything but UK channels.

However, I will imagine what is happening and every time I think you are all raising your glasses, I will join you.

I think I will get as happy as a newt first.

Don't know exactly what we're doing this year, but if I'm around I'll definitely have a go at both the hunting and the drinking!

I'm up for it AS & Stick. Lets see whos first to put up a post after each NYE drinky before they no longer make any sense.

Lets see who becomes the most incoherent first :roflmao:

The results should be quite amusing

Dunno about incoherent - I was still lucid and happily typing well after midnight uk time last year.

Anyone else up for this lunacy? You need access to 13E definitely & 19E for later in the evening when we visit the German bierkellers. Theres a couple of the channels on Sky 28E but you are going to miss an awful lot if thats all you have access to. My screen grabs really wont be the same!

I have my Budvar at the ready

Are you going to give us any more clues beforehand? Is there a how-to guide?

Any threads from yesteryear that we can crib from?

Now I expect everyone who drops in to see what we are up to - even if its only for an hour - to say hello ok??

And plenty of advance warning - we will be starting at 1300 uk time with Sky News for the Aussie celebrations

<praying>
Please Sky News take the Oz midnight parties!
