Hello everyone BIG respect to a very nice friendly forum

I'm new to this forum but I am no stranger to Sat TV..I started out with a pace dish and box way back when the 1st astra sat went up and quickly moved to a motorised setup but I have been away from this fascinating subject for over 10 years and now I want to get back into the action....with great advice from all you guys I'm in the process of putting together a nice motorised system...details and pics to follow

Really good to have you here Dave :welc4:

I think we're all going to be a little bit jealous of your new setup when it's done

Don't rush into anything, and find yourself a good installer if you're not going to do it yourself.

You should be OK if you choose to DIY, but don't forget to save a little cash back for a nice strong steel mounting pole and fixings.

Receivers can be easily sold-on or upgraded, but you'll only want to do your dish once

hi dave a big welcome from me 2.as stick says take your time on what you get for setup.think this though & in the long run your save money & have great viewing for what you want.but remmber you can have a mini or rolls for dish.you make your mind up what you wish to spend first.put more of it into the dish setup than a receiver as your re-starting.new receivers come out all the time.

Hi Dave, welcome to our friendly little forum. Sounds like you are going to have a nice bit of kit set up when you are finished.

Welcome Dave, you are in for some real fun.

Setting your system up is the important bit. Take your time to get everything lined up correctly and you wont have to rush out on a stormy night to get your picture back.
