Default New English-language TV channel from Dubai launches

City 7 TV is a new channel produced in the UAE with local content and targets English language viewers. It provides a combination of content filmed in the UAE and international programming purchased from outside of the region. The station says its programming will appeal to top business decision makers, young urban professionals, students, homemakers, children and tourists of Dubai.

Mohi Din Bin Hendi, City 7 TV’s President says, “I am proud to announce my involvement in what we are determined will be Dubai’s premier, English language television station. Unlike other broadcasters, City 7 TV produces quality local programming, targeting the local community. With an estimated 3 million English speaking residents in Dubai alone, City 7 TV is set to become a commercial success. Naturally, the channel is seen across the UAE and indeed throughout the region and beyond.”

City 7 TV is free-to-air on Nilesat and is available to all viewers throughout the Middle East and Africa who have a satellite receiver. Tuning information: 11862 MHz, Po. V, SR:27500, FEC:3/4, SID:201, PID:201/301.
