Default Satellite Dish planning Regs

Just heard on Radio 2 (Steve Wright in the Afternoon) that Parliament is going to relax the need for planning permission for any size dish or the amount of dishes that you can have.

Should be interesting to see what will be said

To be honest i didn't really take much notice as i was in quite a hurry at the time. ops: Just listened to it again on the Web. From what it sounds like is that plans are going to be unveiled soon to allow you to have any dish regardless of size or any amount of dishes.

You can listen to it yourself on the radio 2 website. Its 48 mins in to the Steve Wright show (12-12-06)

All i know was that they were discussing that in therory you could have a dish the same size as the ones at Goonhilly in your back garden without planning permission

I'm sure that it will all be revealed very soon through the media.

If anyone has a copy of the Daily Mirror it's on page 21

However it's only 1 of 520 proposal's to "ease bureaucracy for charities, businesses and individuals" and the press didn't seem to impressed with the idea

Cheers,
Kev.
