Will keep you informed if i succeed and thanks for all the advice. btw - a manual came with my receiver - have you guys got this 1500 Super manual? - if not, i can scan and mail.

Yes, got it thanks. I couldn't find any mention of adding a sat, but I'll re-read it now I know how it's done!

Finally got it working - the channel has two idents - one was missing in nearly all softcam files! Was lucky in finding both indents - used the mentioned notepad prog to edit key file - uploaded and away

You got the channel open, yes?
If so, well done. Some of this stuff is a bit fiddly, but a logical approach will always get you there in the end  What was the other Provider ID by the way?
