god knows what youv spent m8.
Upto now over a grand since i found this forum

A lot of the stuff i've purchased for experimentation. I used it for a bit and then sold it on ebay or friends

The old BSB squarial was the most fun to play with as my neighbours thought i had lost it completely until i got a picture from it

As with most people its took me a while to get my setup the way i want it

I think my Technomate TM 1000 Super will be the last thing i will need to get for a while. I only purchased that as i couldn't get my A/V transmitter to work properly. I can now watch House on Fox while in bed instead of having to watch it downstairs

Not much use for Sky i know but i can get most of everything i watch on my old trusty Pace On Digital Box ops:

I really don't think i will be spending any more money on my Satellite system for a while, unless i see something that takes my fancy.

I must admit it did take my fancy, although i'm quite attatched to my nuts so i didn't bid on it as they would probably end up in a glass at the side of the bed if i came home with a dish that big

I'd just like to say that i think the Morena Ice 0.3dB Twin lnb is sh**e >

I can no longer receive any of the fringe satellites like Amos, BadR and Nilesat at all no matter how much I adjust the lnb or the dish. I can't even get a lock on the any of the above birds transponders never mind get a picture from them

I could get a signal from all of the above with the old GloboGold 0.3dB single lnb

Still at least it figures why it was so cheap. It works fine on the stronger birds but is useless with the weak ones, its very annoying to say the least

Think I'll have to get a better one after i come back from holiday in France, unless i come across a cheap french store that is. I'm looking at an Inverto or MTi twin lnb. I might even push the boat out and go for an Invacom if i can stretch to it

Can anybody recommend a good lnb that won't break the bank :?

Yeah, both of those seem to work well on weak signals. The Inverto white's are pretty good too I hear.

Purchased an MTI Supreme 0.2dB twin lnb, It was at the right price so i couldn't resist it

I found the single MTi Bluelines very good for grabbing the signal, i just couldn't get it to work with the other lnbs on the DISEqC switch
