One topic that comes up quite regularly on the other forums is "I have a wife from country X. Can I get tv channels from her country?"
In Europe the answer is probably - with a bit of detective work channels from most countries are avalaible. Most of the channels listed below are free to air , there are also pay services available for some countries For example for Thai partners you can currently get 2 TV channels and a radio service on Hotbird 13E For Russian partners then theres fta channels available on 13E or 5E. For Ukrainian girls then Sirius 5E is your destination. For Czech or Slovakian girls then ideally you want 23E, although most of the channels are scrambled and it needs a big dish in the UK. Theres a couple of Czech channels in the clear on 19E, and others available through a subscription. And so on. These seem to be the most common countries asked for - please ask away if you need other info.

![]() Just imagine the arguments about which way to point the dish. Definitely got to go multi, twin or even quad lnbs and separate receivers in different rooms if you want to live.

I dunno. I make a sensible post to help blokes with foreign wives get a quiet life and you lot hijack the thread and take the widdle out of it...

Apologies Analoguesat,
It's just that when I read your post I realised I get all the satellites you mention, and I thought what a waste it is as I don't have the Thai, Russian, Ukrainian, Czech and Slovakian wifes to go with them.

I've retitled this post, and it now makes perfect sense to me.
I find that having too many foreign wives running off one dish does tend to cause some cross-border interference though. Try keeping alternate halves of your female houseguests horizontally polarised for reduced marital problems.
