I don't know whether dvbviewer has plug ins does it. Best programs to use are Progdvb and Altdvb with the plug ins s2emu and vplug

DVBviewer pro certainly does support plugins:

http://www.dvbviewer.com/en/index.php?page=features

... but I'm not 100% sure if that includes the sort of plugins you're after because I've never tested it. These are known as MD Plugins or Multidec plugins.

This could be what is described on the above page as 'different plugins' and indeed there is plenty of evidence on other forums and sites that these can be utilised via the DVBviewer API in vplug for example.

The bottom line? Highly likely you can use these plugins on the Pro version, but I can't speak from experience.

I have been using DVBViewer Pro in the past and whilst you can install plugins, since I have installed the latest ALTDVB 2.2 that is the only programme I use. Version 2.2 is a huge improvement in sat card viewing and it takes plugins and share files and is so fast and non-cpu greedy I will stick with it.

Yes, I've cut over to AltDVB V2.2 now.

I'm still learning what all the bits and bobs do - it's very 'comprehensive' shall we say, but is blindingly fast, can run FOUR different TV channels (from the same transponder) and best of all, is completely stable to date.
