You will need to check and update your transponder list for each satellite to ensure reception of all the available channels

If you select the satellite in question at one of the big indexing sites like Kingofsat.net, flysat.com or lyngsat.com you will find a fairly up-to-date list of transponders.
A transponder definition basically consists of four pieces of information: 1) Frequency 2) Polarisation 3) Symbol Rate 4) Forward Error Correction You can look up what these mean in our Glossary You will then need to list the transponders in your receiver, and see if there are any differences - updating those that are new or have changed slightly. This can be a real pain in the butt, and it is often easier to do this by importing a 'satcodx' file, or using a channel editor on your PC if the manufacturer of your satellite receiver provides one.

Have a look at the Humax support website, but I'm sure the answer is yes.
http://www.humaxdigital.com/hcsa/ You'll also need a null-modem lead.

If its the same as my TMS 1500 CI+ you won't need to have your receiver connected to the dish.
![]() It only needs to be connected to the dish if you are downloading updates from the satellite itself although i don't know if the humax receiver is supported in this way ![]() There should be software available to allow you update the software, transponder lists etc as the Humax receivers are fairly well supported. Its just a case of looking. ![]() You can try the Humax site or other Satellite forums ![]() As stick said there might be stuff available on the Humax site. You will need to register on the Humax web site to download what ever software is available ![]() ![]() Nano
