Default digital cable receiver

HELP!
I have just returned from spain with a digital cable receiver box that received sky tv, i presume i need a dish but will it pick up a signal in the uk.
the box is a coship cdvbc5350c.
Any information will be a help

If its a cable receiver its no use whatsoever for satellite reception.

Analoguesat you are correct, it's a cable box.

Look at the date stamps. This is from last year, and the OP hasnt been on the forum since.
