The Technomate 1000D is a patchable receiver, the 1500 is in the same range of receivers, and both use the same patches.
90cm is the dish size, STAB H-H 90 DiSEqC motor, is obviously the motor that moves the dish and 42E to 30W are the satellites he can pick up with his system.
As to what you need it depends on your budget, general location, what satellites you wish to receive, and your general location.

the 90cm stab h-h 90 diseqc motor 42E to 30W bit is Robbos' sig. It is nothing to with the technomate patch m8. You just need the softcam and the patch for the 1000D if that is the technomate receiver you have.

Yes, you can do it using the receiver menu, or you can do it with TMeditor.
I have placed a copy of it in the downloads area. you need 6 posts to see it.
