Which is best and why?
I'll wait for the PS3 because: 1) I would rather avoid Microsoft products 2) All the Sony products I've ever had have been good quality 3) I have a PS1, and the backward compatability would be a small bonus 4) I think there will ultimately be a wider range of games available 5) Blu-ray would be nice 6) I like the Playstation controller, and it's familiar 7) Hey, it's a Playstation, right?

Gonna stick with my xbox until the price of the 360 comes down. Also the firmware on the 360 has been "fixed" to play backups the same as the original xbox has.

I'll have to go with the Wii
![]() OK so it's not the most powerful console in the world but the games are just so playable. The new Wimote is just great, even the girlfriend said she wants one And she's NEVER been interested in games consoles :? When you add that the Wii is probably half the price of an Xbox360/Playstation3 then it's a hands down winner for me ![]() Kev

What are the stocks of Wiis like at the moment in the UK? They were still selling at between 300 and 500 quid on ebay last week.

![]() I'm gonna have to stick to the Playstation i'm afraid ![]() Reasons for this:- 1. Wouldn't buy the XBox because i don't want to give Mr. Gates any of my hard earned cash. 2. Less likely to Injure myself/someone else or break a window (Wii) 3. Have some PS2 games which hopefully will work on the PS3 ![]() Nano

![]() The only reason I have an XBOX 360 is because my brother wanted one & broke it. He brought a new one and gave me the 'broken' one. I fixed it and kept it 8)
