Default zeta cam problem

hi can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong i cant get a zeta blue cam to work. Ive just set up a motorised dish with a technomate 1600 2ci super the cam has access to s** viewxxx I'm tuned in to hotbird 12.360 ghz as instructions, parental lock is off on cam, all I'm getting is multi coloured blocks flickering which is more than trying to view without cam in slot so its doing something, scrambled sign still on any suggestions before i contact supplier. thanks , andy

What signal strength and quality are you getting?

Can you get any of the FTA channels off that transponder?

Hot Chili
Sexy Italy
AAA Sex Channel
All Music
Derby Race TV
Cortona Notizie
Dr Dish TV
Mlive

I'm not the CAM guy I'm afraid, but if you can supply any further details regarding firmware version etc. that would be useful. One of the other mods will hopefully be able to give you some more direction.

Did you get it from Satstore? Mark is pretty good on the customer service front I've found.

You should be able to get the firmware revision from the CAM menu in the receiver.

I think the latest version for the Joker/Zeta is V1.17. If this is not what you have, then you may need to update it with a CAS2/3 or Fun5 card. There appears to be a different version for each method, both available at funfiles.

Files and firmware will go out of date I'm afraid, but V1.17 does seem to have been around for a while.

I hope this all doesn't sound too scary. It's not as tricky as it seems - it's just another layer of jargon to get through

Hey, good news. It may well have just been the length of time it was left on.

Glad you're sorted. Are you enjoying the Premiere package at the moment? A patch will open loads of good TV at the moment.

The German Premiere package is currently available with a patch for your TM-1600CI receiver. With a null-modem lead you can flash a naughty version of the firmware which will open the whole lot.

Lots of sport (incl Premiership) and top movies in English.

Have a look at thread number 74942 at the forum at a l s a t.co.uk, and grab the loader too.

Ask us for help if you need it.

The patch will also open TPS and Multivision at the moment.
