I've just purchased a new Sat finder which doubles up as a receiver strangely enough
![]() After making the worst mistake of my life and selling my old FortecStar Lifetime Classic which was fantastic when it came to setting up my dishes i decided to buy another. When it was doubled up with my Sat meter i used to find the sats in minutes rather than hours ![]() It saves me having to keep digging my TMS 1500 CI+ out of the TV unit every time i want to set one of the dishes up to another satellite. ![]() I also found that the TM wasn't as quick at registering the signal as the FortecStar was which often meant that i missed the signal altogether which was very frustrating :mega: I'm just hoping the tuner in the Lifetime Ultra+ is as quick at registering as the old lifetime classic was ![]() ![]() Nano

I use my old Fortec for hunting as well when I pull my old dish out of the hedge. It responds fast enough to signals when waving a dish around to be useful.

The Ultra is going back to Maplins this afternoon.
The muppet that i sold my FortecStar Lifetime Classic to obviously couldn't be bothered to collect it from the post office after they left him a card telling him they had tried to deliver it, so they have sent it back to me ![]() I'm going to refund him his money minus P&P costs and tell him where to go :spite: The lifetime classic is a fantastic receiver to setup with so i'll be keeping it now ![]() Not much point in keeping the ultra now :
