Default Plumbing in two seperate satellites into a sky+ digibox

Hi everyone, I have two dishes pointing at Astra 1 and 2. The Astra 2 signal goes into a sky+ digibox (although I am not a subscriber and only receiev the free to air channels with an old sky card). The second dish (Astra 1) works fine with a Humax receiver but I want to put this input onto the second sky+ LNB input so that I have all channels on the one receiver. I cannot get the digibox to lock on or even recognise the presence of the astar 1 signal? Does anyone have any advice? Many thanks John

Default Re: Plumbing in two seperate satellites into a sky+ digibox

There no"default transponder" on 19E for the digibox to lock on to.

The only way to use the Sky digibox with Astra 1 channels is to use "add channels" (services 4 4) then use other channels (services 6) to view them

Having said that Im not sure you can do what you want to do - the Sky+ box is not designed for that sort of operation.
