Default Can anyone recommend a good ISP

Telewest Blueyonder in their infinate wisdom decided to switch me off again this morning for not paying a bill that they never sent to me Apparently now they offer 3 types of billing service, Paper bill, e-bill and ESP.

I'm must have been on the latter > How can you pay a bill what you don't know about > Its hardly rocket science for them to figure out that if they send me a bill i will then pay it

To make matters worse the gits are about to put up their non direct debit fee to £5 a month. How can the barstewards justify that >

Is the bill sent on a 1000 year old parchment with the writting written in ink from a nearly extinct squid

Anyway I've had enough of them and its time for a change

I've already had my old BT line switched back on and told Telewest to switch theirs off

Unfortunately I've got to keep my Broadband and TV until July as I'm still halfway through a 12 month contract. I have had everything put on to the lowest package to make sure they only have the lowest amount of money they are legally entitled to. :spite:

I'm happy with what i have on Satellite so there's no problem there

What i need is an unlimited download with none of that poxy fair usage policy. I usually use around 100gb a month so that knocks out most of the players in the field.

It also needs to be on ADSL with 2MB speed. Not really interested in anything faster as 2MB is all I'm on at the moment

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't know anyone that doesn't have a fair usage policy of some sort.

100 gig might not be regarded as 'unfair' by some though. Many just reserve the right to decide on the fly what they regard as 'fair' these days. It saves them having to keep re-writing their T&C's.

I believe that "Toucansurf" give unlimited downloads for £17.99 per month and I heard that a customer got a reduction to £16.99 as their line could only take 2 Mbts - might be worth looking at. Personally I'm on Wanadoo and never have any trouble but there is a limit of 2 Mb per month which I am nowhere near.
