Default Apple TV details

Apple TV - formerly known by its iTV code name - is the company's new set-top box for the high-def market. About an inch tall and as heavy as a paperback novel, Apple TV can display 720p high-definition video, and lets users stream content wirelessly from other computers on their network for playback on a connected HD television.

The back of the Apple TV unit features multiple connectivity options. From left to right: power, USB 2.0, 10/100 ethernet, HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface), a component video connection array, analog stereo audio and optical digital audio. The Apple TV box also connects to a home network wirelessly using 802.11b, 802.11g and the draft 802.11n standards.
