I'm totally sold on this (free) piece of DVB viewer software now.
Feature-packed, stable, slick and very easy on the CPU. Takes all your favourite MD plugins, and because of the efficient use of processing power, I've found it especially good for DVB-S HD. Why not give it a go? I nabbed the old Elecard codecs from ProgDVB and chucked them straight in here. Works a treat.

Err, and you can also take video screenshots just by using Alt/PrtScn!
Much easier than all the faffing about I used to have to go through with either MyTheatre or ProgDVB.

And talking of screenshots, here's one from a fullscreen channel.
Superb, and so easy to do. Only 120K - straight out of the viewer.

Where did you get that picture of nano Stick?
By the way if any member want guidance on linking Altdvb 2.2 to their dreambox, give me a shout.

Sorry Nano, I have just noticed that I forgot the smileys.
![]() Here is a screen grab of my Altdvb. Of course, a double click on the picture puts it up to full screen. I have just shown it with all the options.

Oh, that's odd. That was one of the things I really liked about it. I've no idea what might cause that :?

As i have just a sky dish at the moment thats all i'm gonna get, mind you first time i've seen playboy tv ops: Dvb viewer didn't seem to good so tried progdvb better but now i want to try Alt-dvb problem is downloaded/unziped it and when i click on the exe file i got this message in a small window Loading resources Checking source filter DvbAvSrc: Missing/Not registered Please re-register [ DvbAvSrc.ax ] any ideas on this, is it because i need the right codec for it to work :? oh it is frustrating but i love it ![]()

There is a batch file in the filters folder. Double click the file and it will register the codec
