Hi ukdude1234
![]() First of all, it will help both of us if you read our motor installation guide here. It's well worth reading the whole thing. First, make sure your mounting pole is 100% vertical in every plane. Now, you need to set the motor elevation. Your motor-mounting bracket has two scales, as you say. One side is 'elevation', the other 'latitude' and they both read 0-90 but one is reversed. Find the one marked 'LAT' (if I remember correctly) and set it to 53.8. This will result in your dish being elevated from the horizontal by approx 36.2 degrees. This should be the reading on the opposite scale (ELE). That will correct the main error you have. Now you need to setup your dish on Thor 1W as described in the manual, by rotating the motor on the pole and adjusting the dish elevation (not the motor elevation). Let us know if you get stuck again ![]() STICK
