Default Re fixed dish

If I have a fixed dish pointing at Astra and Eurobird.
Can I point another LNB at hotbird without moving the dish.

It depends upon the size of dish. If it is say 90 cm you should be able to.

Have a read of this post: http://www.satellitehelp.co.uk/forum...ic,1588.0.html

I would avoid a kit personally, unless it has these part in it

Decent quality 90cm dish of a known brand like Triax, Gibertini, Raven Gemini, Global Orbit, Metronic, Channel Master, Hirschmann, ISS etc.

Moteck SG2100A DiSEqC motor, or one of the STAB HH motors, preferably the STAB HH-120.

Decent LNB - MTI, Invacom, Inverto, Smart Titanium something like that.

T&K brackets, galvanised to protect against rust, and a short length (1m+) of galvanised 2" scaffold pole.

A suitable length of CT100 coax (double shielded in copper, foam inner).

F connectors (half dozen) cable clips, cable ties, self-amalgamating tape (at least 12"), grease to protect threads when done, external quality waterproof sealant to seal hole in brickwork where the coax comes through.

Hope that helps.
