Default Re: Problem with one transponder

Thanks for all the suggestions. The 4000/500 channel limit may be the problem. I am still finding my way around the Technomate and while trying to scan Astra2 I choose Blind search by mistake at one point. I canceled it after I noticed what was going on but didn't check whether I had reached my limit or not. I will check when I get home later (after I have figured out how to do it ). I don't think there is anything nearby causing an interference problem. Also the Comag finds the transponder when I search for FTA.
Thanks again, will let you know how I get on.

I finally managed to get the channels . To do it I deleted the transponder (again) and re-entered it manually (again) but this time I entered 10907 V instead of 10906, did a scan and up came the channels
I thought I would try this because I noticed that yesterday when I deleted some transponders and did a network scan some of the transponders came back with strange (to me) numbers. Quite a lot of them came up with SRs of 27501 instead of the 27500 that I expected. Any ideas on this? Is there some basic setting that I have screwed up that might cause this or maybe is the Technomate reporting the more accurate setting?

Ah, good spot. It's probably just the tuner being hyper picky about the frequency (maybe it's a little bit out of tolerance?) but at least you've sorted it.

My Dreambox does that automatically, but I can alter it back manually with no ill effects.

Well done anyway. I'll remember that one too, for other Techno users.
