Default Re: Astra 28E Problem

I don't think its bad wiring or the LNB Nano the lead from the TM to SS2 on the loopthrough is a ready made cable from comet and the TM is working fine. I think the problem lies with the settings for the SS2 or the SS2 itself as Stick has said it could be slowly breaking down.

20 million points each to nanochicken and bgonastick. Just checked the cable from the loopthrough to the ss2 and its buggered. There is a cut in the cable haven't a clue how it happened but just made another cable up myself just long enough to go from TM to SS2 and bingo. Same channels all round

Excellent!

Nice one m8. Sometimes these problems can just be the most bizarre bloody things. Really pleased you've eliminated it.

Don't know what DiSEqC settings you had setup on the SS2 via loopthrough, but you may still get odd results if the SS2 is fighting the Techno for control of the LNB, so be prepared to chuck the Techno into standby when using the Skystar.

the diseqc settings are none m8 so I just stick the technomate on whichever satellite I want to view. That seems to get the best results
