Who was the manufactor of the legendary Blue Cap LNB?

It came not only with early Amstrad dishes, but other satellite dish manufactors used them as well. The one I have came with a G-Sat dish. Some TechniSat dishes and other no-name dishes also used Blue Cap LNBs. So, I doubt that Amstrad was the manufactor but bought it from another company and put their own label on it.


There are many sites on the web dealing with conversions of Blue Caps to ATV transmitters. But be aware, a lot of experience in RF and soldering is indispensable.
