Default What to read first?

Hello everyone, I just registered here just this week.

Soz for being so lazy, but I wanted to ask if anyone could show me any notable threads that I should have a read of first, so I can get up to speed here?

Thanks in advance, Michael

Hi Micheal, welcome to the happy band.

Difficult to recommend anything without knowing your areas of interest. Just have a mooch about, starting with the main index which will give you an idea of the sections we currently have.

Chip in where you find something interesting, starting new threads for new questions, and we will answer to the best of our abilities.

The things of general interest - things that we feel would be of most use to most people, are 'stickied' at the top of each section - i.e. they are highlighted in bold and occupy pride of place.

Find a section that takes your fancy - Beginners and the General section are good for starters, and read the stickies. You can then use the search function in the main menu bar to reference other threads by keyword.

It's best to search from the main index, because the search function only scans the section you are in and below - not the whole forum.

Hope this helps - and don't be afraid to ask even the simplest questions - we really don't mind
