Anybody know whats happened to National Geographic Turkey. :?
I have sound but the pictures gone tits up completely on my TMS 1500 CI+ NG Iberia and NG Germany are still coming in fine its just NG Turkey. Can anyone else confirm if they are having the same problems. ![]() I have deleted it, rescanned it back into the receiver and reinstalled the BISS keys but still nothing ![]() I watch this channel quite often so it would be missed if it disappeared. ![]() Nano

Hi nanochickin,
I have just scanned the channel into my receiver and it looks like the Video PID has changed from 308 to 3601, can you check the channels details, in your receiver, to see what readings you get for VPID and SID. |

Did a bit of searching and it appears that National Geographic Turkey is now transmitted in 4:2:2 format which explains why i can get sound and what appears to look like an old analogue scrambled channel

They haven't updated any of the web sites with new details yet, if it was just a VPID change then all you have to do is change the information from 0134, old Hex value of VPID to 0E11, new hex value of VPID, but if they have changed their broadcasting to 4:2:2 the cheapest method of receiving it might be a Skystar, I think they can decode the signal.
