The BBC's trial of high-definition television (HDTV) will include next month's RBS Six Nations championships. For the first time all England, Wales and Scotland home games will be broadcast in HD.
The year-long BBC HD trial launched last summer in time for the FIFA World Cup and Wimbledon championships. Announcing the Six Nations HD coverage, BBC Sport director Roger Mosey said: "We've had terrific feedback on our trial HD broadcasts in other sports, so this is a major step forward." Live video coverage of every match will be carried on the BBC Sport web site, with video highlights of every match available at half-time and full-time. BBC Sport's interactive TV coverage of the 2007 Six Nations Championship will be presented in a multi-screen format for the first time. _________________________________________________ Saturday 3rd February: 15:30 - 1720 Six Nations Rugby: England v Scotland.
