Default No Turksat!

Hi,

Recently got my TM1500CI+ and working very well. Have a curious problem though, I cannot seem to find Turksat at 42E.

I have checked my dish alignment (80cm offset) from 30W round to 39E and it's bang on. I have beaming pictures from 39E and the dish obliges when I ask it to move that extra 3 degrees to 42E but when I do a full scan or even a blind scan, it finds not a peep.

Checked also receiver settings, Diseqc, USALS etc. all seem OK, exactly the same as for the other satellites.

I wonder if there is a strong and reliable FTA signal I could try to lock onto giving it some E/W nudges in the POS menu of the receiver, I have tried this when tuned to TV8 but still no joy and I don't know if/when that is on so I have too many variables here.

Haven't tried getting anything from 45E, don't know if there's anything available there and anyway, my channel memory is full apparently.

Any ideas?

Default Re: No Turksat!

From the list of strong transponders that I receive and I posted a few weeks ago.
42east, 11804V, 24444, 5/6.
If your channel list is full your receiver will not store anymore channels even if they are seen.
Delete all the radio channels stored in your receiver to free up some space.
If you have been blind scanning on other satellites your box will be full of crud. Good housekeeping, get rid of rubbish.
