Default Which brand?

If you were going to buy a Plasma, LCD or DLP TV.. which brand would you pick and why?

I would go with Mitsubishi.. I have a 10 year old Mitsubishi Tube TV that works great... and a 7 year old one that works perfect too. I just really like Mitsubishi...

There is a nice Sony Vega 32" TV in my living room and I have no complaints about it. The picture quality is amazing, I've found it to be better than most of the other brands when browsing TV's in Future Shop, the Brick and others... Sony's been making some of the best TV's on the market for a long time, so the next time I buy a TV chances are it will be a Sony.

I would go with SONY too. SONY electronics are best in the market and known as best name. The best part I like about SONY is their quick service when you take your item to claim warranty (though it rarely happens).

I'm yet another Sony fan (no surprise there) but I've got a Toshiba at home which must be getting on for 10 years, and it is STILL better than a lot of the TV's around in the shops, but then again it is MASSIVE and so heavy that it takes at least 2 people to drag it along!

Aah the good old days!

as far as tv goes - it's got to be PANASONIC! they have an extrememly high standard for their av products and their 'viera' range of plasmas and lcd's are the highest standard of the consumer market right now...
