I got mythtv up and running last week on Ubuntu but found it very slow but its running on a Pentium 3 with 378 meg of ram. Kaffeine seems a lot quicker and a hell of a lot easier but of course doesn't have as many features. Will maybe have another go one day when I have a better pc. I reckon if you have a good spec pc and time and patience its a very good program.
