Default Multipul softcams

Just wondering guys, is it possible to run 2 softcams at the same time on the dreambox :?

Already had gBox running great but unfortunately i can't get it to open TPS. Have Premiere and Digital+ open fine. I watch a lot of french TV so it would be great to get TPS open as well

I have decided that i should install evocamd to use with the autoupdate software. It seems that i can install it directly from the dreambox with the DS team image although i cannot get it to run as gBox seems to be the default cam and evocamd doesn't get a look in

Going to have a play with an unadulterated back up of the image made before gBox was installed. Hopefully i can get evocamd to work so i can finally put the Technomate up on ebay to claw back some of my holiday spending money

In Gemini you can change the cams on any particular channel, provider etc by pressing blue red and setting things up in this panel.

Got Evocamd working on Absat, Digital+ etc, just need to get the kids in bed so i can ftp the TPS autoupdate files over to the box

Definately getting more confident with the Dreambox everyday, will have a go on Gemini again soon and i have still to try the Polar image

Gemini is he best one Ive tried - its more user friendly, and is well regarded by the enthusiast community.

Gemini can be a bit touchy running some emu's though (especially GBOX, but then I've always found that quite a tricky emu to get running smoothly regardless of image). The SDT images were good, as are the PLI images (sometimes) but the latter tend to be over-complicated. The Dream-Zone image is also worth a try. Not sure if they did a 7020 version, but would have thought so.

I tend to have no more than three emu's loaded at one time for stability reasons. If I need anymore than that I go to another image. Don't be tempted to run loads of other crappy plugins either. There are all kinds of pointless additions you can bog your DB down with.
