My HDCI2000 has software version 1.00.03. I've downloaded version 1.00.07. Can someone post an idiots guide to updating. I know I need a null modem cable. Thanks.

Just found out my laptop does not have a serial port. Is it ok to disconnect the Humax, take it to my main computer and do the update whilst not conected to the sat dish.
