BSkyB is to re-brand its arts channels Artsworld to Sky Arts from Thursday 1st March.

Artsworld, which broadcasts on Sky EPG 237, launched in 2000 with BSkyB buying a 50% share in the channel in 2003.

In 2005, BSkyB took full control by buying out a number of individual shareholders.

The re-branding means the channel now has a clear Sky identity.

Artsworld HD will also re-brand on the same date.
