Hello,
I am attempting to install a ViewSat 2000 with a dish that was previously on the Dish network (I'm in North America). When I do a blind scan, channels come up and everything works generally fine, except for two problems: 1. Many channels show up in duplicate or even triplicate on the Program Guide and, 2. For some reason, the shows have no titles, all that's displayed is "No Information Available". Thanks in advance for your help, Mike |

Firstly :welc4: to the forum Mike.
You will find duplicates/triplicates of a single channel,as some are broadcast on several transponders,of a particular satellite. Just keep the one, that has the strongest signal quality and delete the duplicates. Only if a particular broadcaster is actually sending out programme information on the EPG(Electronic Program Guide),will you see that information onscreen, otherwise you will see,as you have,"No information available". If you are not already doing so,then I would suggest checking regularly with the following website to keep up to date with the latest frequency changes, new channels etc: http://lyngsat.com/america.html |
