Hi there - i am just about to head into the art world as want the premiership footy - am i right in thinking that all matrix cards will work with it, as not sure if mine is an older one as bought it from internet bidding site.

Also, could you tell me what other sport is on there, as I too may plump for the 12m rather than 6m if it is worth it.

I am just about to go to France, will it be cheaper for me to buy the card there, or should i go for the bidding site again?

Yes, your ART card should work in one of the older 'Matrix' series of CAMs, but you might find that you'll not be able to initially activate it. Some dealers will do this for you prior to dispatch if you request it.

I doubt the card will be any cheaper in France. In fact you might find that availability's a problem. The price seems to be driven down by competition in the UK, as opposed to up by demand.

Of course, now I've said that, you'll find one for half-price in Paris!

Thanks for that - just got one new on bid site for £46 for the whole year

now just have to hope ,my cam unlocks it as forgot to ask seller to do it for me - any idea what i could do if it doesn't unlock - don't know anyone else with a sat system to ask

Mine activated OK in a patched TM1500

No idea if the Matrix Cams will activate an Art card though :? I do own one, it was only bought as a cheap viaccess cam but I soon found out it was "surplus to requirements"

Gremlin, have you got your art card yet?

I was thinking of getting a card off the same seller & it looks like the same card going for £90 which has Al Jazeera Sport on it as well. Let me know how you get on. If it is a bargain or not? I'm quite happy with watching footie on premiere but its probably going to go soon and the F1 season is only round the corner and Art supposidly has english commentry and no adverts!

I'm sure I read somewhere that the Al Jazeera part of the Art cards will stop working from September regardless of how long is left on the card .

It might be worth checking this out first if anyone is thinking of buying one .

And that really is a great price for an Art card Gremlin Your guaranteed to get the rest of this seasons PL And with a bit of luck you might get some games next season too

I heard on the sat grapevine that and art + al jaz card will turn into an al jaz card in september. Also heard the showtime selling art the non premium fixtures rumour. Probably worth $46 the blokes has a few iffy feedbacks now.
