Im located near the Warrington area and have got Astra one on a zone 2 mindish with no problems. An old sky analogue box will get loads of german channels and can be picked up for next to nothing. Or try Maplins at the Cockhedge they often have complete digital satellite kits in stock.

Thanks a lot, it was actually seeing a satellite kit (The "satellite system in a suitcase" one) in Maplins that rekindled my interest.
