Default New Dish(es) set-up

I thought I'd post a couple of pics of the new set-up

Blue sky and fluffy white clouds in Scotland in February? :spite:

Nice. The small Triax dish is a tidy little piece of kit isn't it?

Very unusual. There's a saying up here :quote: If you can see over the Clyde, it's going to rain, If you can't see over the Clyde, it's raining. :roflmao:

Global warming appeals to me now. ops:

Yep, matches my unglossed woodframing. Going to brick it up later, as we've just moved here a few months ago.
A nice off white brick facing would do, or some grey brick and some white car primer would match the dish nicely.
I like the lnb arm on the Triax, made from a bit of channel, rather than the 3/4" box section on the 80 cm dish.
I'll swap out the 80cm dish in the summer I think, for something more substantial, and a new lnb.

Got my triax 110cm dish from fleabay for £45 all inclusive.
I'm ******** myself to put it up where the motor's mounted because of the wind load and it's next to my daughter's bedroom window.
Looking around to possibly dig a hole and cement in a scaffolding pole with T&K brackets mounted to the post that's holding the car port up.(extra support)
Got mega grief from her indoors when the package arrived (I was at work)
She just doesn't understand.
:quote: I'm not sitting in the garden with a bloody great big dish when I'm sunbathing.
We usually get a couple of weeks a year when it's weather for bikini's, if we're lucky. :?
I'll do it when she's working (great incentive for her to keep her clothes on and give us all a break anyaway :roflmao
I'll post a few pic's when I finally decide what to do, and get it done.
Regards

LOL, tell your wife that the sunlight rays reflected from the dish will definitely give her a better tan and you might get away with it...

They do look seriously large indoors ops:

It has been used before but looks ok, apart from a few minor scratches which will paint over easily enough.

Can't complain for the price
