Hi All,
I have a Force D-Master 1122S which is MPEG1. I am trying to view MPEG2 channels without success. I am re-using my receiver after a two year break. In setting up I have reset to factory settings. Force no longer beam updates via Astra 19.2 so I have added new channels via searches on each satelite. I know you can update the channel list via a PC but need a correctly configured lead. If MPEG2 is the problem, does anyone know if a software upgrade is possible and where I might get it from. Paul |

Hello m8.
Your receiver is mpeg2, not mpeg1. It will have mpeg1 level 2 audio, but mpeg2 is the digital video standard for DVB so that's not your problem. To upgrade your firmware, you'll probably need a null-modem cable a downloaded copy of the latest firmware, if indeed there is a more recent version. Here is the place to get official stuff for your receiver, including a channel editor to save you all that remote-control key punching ![]() http://support.force.tv/UK/1030-1133.htm
