Default Discovery Turbo gears up for Sky launch

A new motoring channel targeted at adult men is to be launched by Discovery Networks next month.

Discovery Turbo will launch on 1st March replacing Discovery Wings on Sky EPG 524.

The channel will be offering programs featuring the most exciting new vehicles including cars, trucks, motorbike, planes and trains.

Dan Brooke, general manager at Discovery Networks in the UK, said: "Discovery Turbo will provide an unprecedented viewing experience for men aged 18 – 54 who are passionate about speed and motors. The unique proposition offered by Discovery Turbo also provides advertisers with a valuable and high quality environment for products and services targeted to this valuable demographic."

It would appear Discovery Kids is being sacrificed to get Discovery Turbo on air. DT needs the airtime that DK uses during the day.

What about Discovery Turbo Kids?

Have your offspring turn into petrolheads before they hit nursery age
