Hi, juan carlos
I have a TM1500, and like you I added a SS2, I used loopthru in the beginning, but as has been said you can only view channels on the SS2 that are the same polarity as the one tuned into on the TM1500. I think I lasted about a month using the loopthru (as BGonaSTICK predicted at the time ) before I had to go and buy a twin LNB.Like you I had no faith in my ability to "do it myself" but I gave it a go, and to be honest, it was a "piece of piss" to do. Have a go at replacing the LNB yourself and if you fail miserably (which I very much doubt) then consider getting someone in to do it.

I use my Tm1000 and ss2 using loopthrough and it works fine if in standby as everyone has said but my tm is connected to a medion pci tv card instead of a TV at the moment but once I have everything sorted will be going the twin lnb route
