Nabilosat 7020 image

Id say the Nabilosat image is based on Gemini - its very similar in operation. One useful feature not in Gemini is the "current transponder" which is found on bouquet - green This gives you access to all the channel on the same tp as the channel you are looking at

The SatanDream image is pretty much Gemini 3.4 with all the plugins ready-loaded. A bit naughty really.

Could explain why i didn't like it. Stayed on my box for all of 30 mins then thought no sod it and deleted it off the USB stick

Don't ask me why but i just don't like the way Gemini works and i don't really like the look and feel of it either :?

After looking through the Nabilosat image i have come across somethings that are pointing more towards the Colosseum image more than the Gemini one. just my opinion on this one

Anyway i've had a play and i'm sticking with the Nabilosat image for a while until something else better comes along.

As a slight aside, it's possible to change the base 'Dream' boot logo to anything you want to. I seem to remember that one or two of the utilities to do that come with a hefty disclaimer regarding the possibility of knackering your box though.

I think FWP 6.3 allows you to change the secondary logo, but I'm not sure if there's any risk associated with doing this. I would have thought that would be on USB, and so carry no risk.

That could explain why i like it so much. I have Colosseum 1.1 and Nabilosat 7020 V5 on my 7020.

Explains the coincidence of me liking both images anyway

Ive given up on Nabilo - its too unstable and keeps hanging the box. It doesnt like fast channel changes and it also doesnt like too many channels where a ident is there but there no signal. Im back on good old Gemini for now

Looks like I'll have to manually load gbox back into Gemini.

Ive got a couple of other bugbears as well. I *really* dont like images where the channel name is at the top of the screen - it obscures too much, and also the switch info box when you change channel is incredibly badly positioned - its over the bloody channel name and the strength boxes etc. Great planning there. NOT.
