What really p!sses me off is the fact these scum are playing to the dreams of the poorer end of society. The sort of folks to whom a thousand quid could make a real difference to their lives.

an old lady called 300+ times to get through wins €600, but goes on to explain that she watches the whole show and her last phone bill was €3000. Bloke looks shocked and tells her quite sternly something like "please listen to me: every week in jan-aug 2007, just call once!"

Not that I'm trying to say that I agree with quiz shows, but at least this shows that some of these people do have compassion.
