Default Digi Senders

Has anyone any advice as to the suitability of these devices ,or used one with their satellite stb.I am looking to use by attaching it to the satellite box and an additional telly in the house.
Will I loose some of my current 71% signal quality etc.
Any experience please good or bad it would be much appreciated.
Cheers

The digi sender does not affect the signal quality to the receiver. It takes the output from the receiver and passes it to another box which then puts the signal into a tv or recorder or other device.

I have only had partial success with a digi sender in the past but only I think due to solid brick walls in my house.
If you have lightweight partitions you should be ok.

Howdy,

I used a sender unit when my Technomate was upstairs, and I wanted to watch Football downstairs.
The picture and sound quality was pretty good.

The problems I encountered were:
a) when her indoors was using the microwave, huge interference on the screen
b) wireless laptop caused interference on the screen when communicating with the router,
c) any dip in signal and the sender unit switched from channel A to channel B (ie. black screen)

Quite frustrating, but just my experience.

Regards

The AEI digisender I had gave excellent picture quality, but wouldn't transmit through more than one paper-thin wall and I need it to go through two, so it was returned to the shop.
