Default Best Satelites + Motor Option/Multiple LNB?

Hi All.

SkyStar2 Card came today, but was totally ruined in transit (the guy put it inside a material to protect it, but it was a total static magnet).

So while I'm waiting for a replacement, I was wondering which are the best Satellites to pick up? By 'best' I mean the ones with most FTA content or the most easily decrypt able content?

I think 13 Deg East (Hotbird) is a pretty good one isn't it?

I know there are loads and loads to choose from... Trouble is, I contacted my local council & I'm only allowed to put up one more Satelite. (My chimneys getting pulled off tomorrow because of leaks, along with all but 2 of my terrestrial areiels).

So rather than be limited to just 28.2East (SkyDish) & 13East I was thinking of getting either a multi-lnb dish or a motorized setup.

Are their any advantages to either technology?

My Location is
51.5North
-2.9East

Any help appreciated...

Thanks...

Also, any religious folks out their who want to pray for my new SkyStar2 card arriving soon are strongly encouraged to.

19E and 30W have a lot of "viewable" stuff as well ATM

I've never had a multi LNB set up but I can thoroughly recommend going motorized

This was designed to help you make the decision

Beyond that, I'd say that ultimately it comes down to how 'into' this lark you see yourself getting. If you think you could get really hooked, then get a motor.

If you just see yourself as being happy with a reasonable selection of FTA channels, and to have to occasional benefit of an encrypted package being open, then a multi LNB dish is probably better.

I still can't decide - so I have both

Right now (and this is usually the case) 13E and 19.2E are the ones to have. 19.2E has plenty open.
