I am putting my motorised dish up today and am just wondering how far east I could really go a 85cm dish(not bought yet and using 60cm) for any channels. Just so I can decide best location. I can see up to 35 degrees east from ideal position but possibly 90 degrees east from non ideal position. Also no point in further east channels if signal quality is going to be poor anyway and also I live in Glasgow if that helps.
Thanks Sunny |

68E is about as far as anyone in the UK can go.
You wont get anywhere near 90 degrees due to the curvature of the earth. There isnt anything much of interest once you get past 53E anyway. Intelsat 7/10 at 68 E need big dishes in the UK
