I know everyone has their favorite image for running on their Dreambox so i thought I'd set up this little poll to see what was the most popular flavour
![]() Everyone can vote for their favorite 3 images I've also now added images for the TM 9100 ![]() ![]() Nano

I use the Pli Helenite image because thats the only image in the uk which has 'now and next' in the EPG. I would like to know why everyone voted for any particular image.

On my 7000 I run Gemini on USB, because it's very stable, well supported and generally well laid out and glitch-free. I have a lot of time for the boys at IHAD.
Having said that, I also run Colosseum on USB because Gemini struggles with certain emulators and configs when installed manually. I use a plugin to download keybundles, so having that built-in isn't a big draw for me. In flash, I have the smallest and tidiest image I can find, and that's usually Boxman. He keeps the latest stable CVS image on the shelf, and there's no excess fat in there to screw up the works. I try most images for a laugh, but only on USB. Most of them give me a headache, or tit me off in under 5 minutes flat. I used to love the Hydra/Pli images, but they're just too gimmicky and flaky now. I have two identical USB sticks and tend to swap them over every few months, keeping the old one as a backup.

I must be honest that i always try a new image when it comes out
![]() Mostly settled on the Nabilosat images as they are faily stable now and do everything i want them to do I even like the analogue clock in pervy sort of way  I find the latest Gemini 3.6 image made my box very slow to react to channel changing and menu listings, Just like when i put Vista on my PC ![]() I've gone back to using Colloseum & Gemini 3.4 as my back up images and Nabilosat v0.8 and Nabilosat Darkstar image for the 7000 on my main USB stick ![]() ![]() Nano

Sadly, it's all too easy to copy an image, change the graphics and pass it off as your own, but anyone who actually uses them for five minutes will surely recognise it as such
![]() Most people know what's going on, but it adds no value to the Dreambox world ![]()
