Yes, that's right. Diagonal braces are usually designed to work in compression. It always makes me laugh when I see braced doors hung upside down. They will often subsequently drop and start rubbing on the bottom.

The seven-dwarf's mining hut door in Disney's Snow White is mounted upside down don't you know

Laugh all you like, but I bet you'll look out for it next time you watch :spite:

if you are going to update your guide "Installing a satellite Horizon to Horizon DiSEqC motor the right way" at some time the para "T&K brackets and mast" needs to be amended to take the above into account.

LOL, it depends on which version you're looking at. I changed it the other day to make it clearer, but I think I've made it worse. The problem comes with terminology - what I'm calling 'T' (because from the front it looks like a capital T) you're calling 'K'.

I think I may just add the picture. It will solve all the problems
