As per subject. I want to get Disney channel on 10.0E (this is the only reason why I would ever go to that satellite). I need Russian and Polish channels from 13E (this is where my dish is pointing at now) and some other German-speaking channels would be a bonus (I've got a couple of German-speaking friends, who often bring some Schnapps and wheat bear with them, so it'll be nice).
I have 4-way Diseqc switch, which is now used for 13E and 28.2E, so I guess I need monoblock for 13E and 28.2E (can I get this in Quad form?) + Quad single LNB + bracket. Can someone please take a look at Wizard Satellites website and tell me what I need to buy? Oh, and I also need some el cheapo 'patchable' receiver. They do Echostar and some Wiztech thing (their own?). Or should I kill my inner bank account manager and go dor M-Vision or the likes? BTW, this is not related to my previous PVR-thing thread. I've got 3 tellies and only one is currently satellitized (is that a word?). |

A monobloc would get you 19E & 13E but would be restricted to one receiver unless you got a dual or quad type (expensive)
I would go for separate lnb's (duals or quads as required) and do duplictate disecq switches onto second and third receivers if so needed. You will find 10E is a problem if you want 13E as well due to the close spacing. You may need to find a narrow type lnb for that one - some alps types will possibly be what you require..

If you want cheap, then it's very hard to beat the TM-1000D with it's excellent patch support.
The patches have to be worth way more than the receiver itself.

On eBay there are a couple of sellers from the US offering Relook 200S for (all inclusive) 90 quid. I guess our lovely Lord the Exchequer would want some share of it too?
Do you think Relook will be any better than TM? Oh and my budget is up to 100 quid for the receiver. |

I would have thought that Customs would laugh all the way to the bank.
In my experience it's hard to get electrical goods sent out of the States. Most retailers won't ship to Europe, and neither will many ebayers. There are obviously a few exceptions but I think there must be a load of expense/red tape/tax implications or something. I guess it's ultimately manufacturers looking to protect the ridiculous price differentials either side of the pond. Non-electrical goods seem to be different. I've had clothes sent no problem. Or maybe there's just a financial breakpoint?

Looks interesting. Obviously geared up to sell to UK customers. Ask him!
I'm pretty sure there's a (£15-ish?) limit under which Customs don't bother, but the seller should be able to tell you - assuming you're prepared to trust his info.
