Default Looking for a couple of programs

Howdy,
I'm trying to mount my computer's hard drive to the dreambox (7000) and need a couple of programs to assist according to what I've read. :?
I'm trying to find "NFSDREAM" and "TUEGRID NFS 1.1"
I've searched a few forums but can't find them.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Regards

Howdy, got a bit of the flu bug at the moment, and my brain is a bit scrambled
Any advice on recording to the hard drive in the db7000, and transferring it through the ethernet connection to my pc, and recording to a dvd (CIFS, I think).
My workmates want to have a look at the naughty stuff before spending any cash, and my technomate is linked to a dvd recorder downstairs where the missus watches most of her tv.
Haven't exposed her to any of the after hours stuff, if you know what I mean.

With a HDD fitted to my box, it's not something I've done I'm afraid

It does work very well though, apparently. There are a few guides out on the net. I'd be grateful if you could post some details here if you get it working, as it's something we've never really discussed AFAIK. It would be useful info for others.

OK, I'll have a scout about over the next few days.
I've got a fuzzy heid at the moment and not a lot of absorption of info.
I can read ok, but forget it a few moments later (usual flu symptoms for me).
I'm blaming my wee lass, she came in with the cold last week, and we went north for a few days for a break.
I was ok up till yesterday, and it's all came out today.
I'm bloody knack'd, but can't sleep.

Take it easy m8.

I'll happily look at anything you find to see if I can make any sense of it, if it doesn't jump off the page at you.

Sometimes it just needs a second pair of eyes - so I always keep mine in a jar of water by the bed.

Howdy,
I've done a bit of scouring on the net, but can't really find too much about transferring from hdd in the DB, to hdd in the pc.
What I did find is that with gemini 3.4 (which I'm using mostly with cccam 1.61) is that you can't use another hdd with a hdd installed internally. :
Found that out by reading the thread on here with a description of gemini 3.4
I managed to get a couple of guides on using nfs and cifs to set-up pc recording (which means I'd have to disconnect the internal hdd in the box).
I'l upload them, as they may be of use to someone (word documents).
I might remove the internal drive from the box and have a fidget over the weekend to see if can get my heid roundabout it.
Regards
S

I've got a feeling that might be true of the Dreambox 7000 in general, and not just Gemini (the remote disk not working with an HDD installed) as it doesn't like to mount more than one device at a time, other than USB of course.

I think you'll find that you can only use a CF card with the HDD disconnected too, but I may be talking crap. It didn't work for me anyway.

The film recording in the dreambox can be just ftp'd to the pc and if you dont have a programme to read it, convert using convertX2dvd.

A CF card works fine in my 7020 (no hdd installed)

ALso note thast a lot of the instruction on how to set up a cifs share assume you are running win xp pro on your computer - if you have xp home you are going to have problems - it cant be done the same way - xp home is basically just win me with a new front end on it.
